-Who are “thEditors” and what will they do they do for you?

We provide professional and extremely high quality manuscript assessment, critiquing and editing services at competitive and above all fair prices. However, we do not quote these prices without seeing a short sample of the work first. Each manuscript is different, some require dramatic overhauls, others, just a little polishing.

How does it work?

Send a brief outline of your story and the first five thousand words to admin@theditors.com

We will review and critique this excerpt for free. If we feel your work has potential we will then send you a quote for various services which we would be willing to offer: Proof-reading, copy-editing, full line by line critique etc. We only work with manuscripts that we believe have potential, so not all will be accepted. If you do not hear back from us within two weeks you can assume that we felt your manuscript was unsuitable.

If we take you on, your manuscript will be ‘double-proofed’ i.e. it will be reviewed by at least two people with particular interest in your genre. Having multiple sets of eyes on a manuscript exponentially increases the chances of catching errors and inconsistencies.

We are also willing to review and give assistance with your pitch, cover letter, synopsis etc.
